Werewolf’s Magic

Chapter 2

     Hastily reaching down to grab her phone she put it back up to her ear. “Who are you and how did you get my number?” She growled. 

     “I already told you,” the voice sounded bored. “I am Daemon the Demon Alpha, your mate.” 

     “ no, I absolutely refuse, I don’t know you and that doesn’t explain how the hell you got my number,” she snapped. 

     “Tell you what sweetheart come to my office, I’ll tell you everything.” He sounded really bored.

     She hung up the phone. “HOLY f*****g HELL!” She screamed throwing her phone across the room and slamming it against the wall. Putting on her shoes she ran out the door and slammed it. Going for a run is the best way to clear my mind. She thought. Running down the block finally calming down that was when she noticed a large black SUV following her. It has to just be coincidence, she thought. But just in case I think I’ll take a detour. She farted down a narrow alleyway which led to her favourite running trail, the trail was very secluded and she would be able to run and change. She was almost at the end of the alley when an oversized man stood in her path blocking her way. He was easily twice her size, she looked back to see the other exit was blocked off by an equally large man. She growled.

     “Miss we don’t want a fight just come with us.” The man in front of her said calmly.

     “Don’t want a fight but you’ve got me cornered like a wild animal. This won’t end well for you.” She calmly responded, calculating her way out she decided to take out the man in front of her first. That way she could run to the trail and change. Or so she hoped.

     “Take it easy lady, we’re just following orders.” He started closing the gap between them. That’s right keep coming, I’m just a weak little girl who can’t do anything. She smirked, before the man had a chance to react she pounced. He wasn’t expecting her to jump on him so he fell backwards. Using her strength she started punching him and clawing him she scratched his eye at one point and heard him yell. Blood was starting to ooze from his face where her nails had dug in. When he was down she turned around to face the other man who had just reached her and grabbed for her.

     “Not today.” Quick as she could she jumped off the man she was on and bolted for her favourite trail. As soon as she left the alleyway she took a right and then made her way left into the trail. Once she was out of sight she changed into a beautiful black wolf and kept running. She slowed down when she thought she got away. She decided to wander around for a while, she was safe out here no one could track her. She found a lake and changed into her human form deciding to go for a swim she kept in and did a few laps. When she finally worked off her adrenaline she got out. When she did a pair of large hands grabbed her and pulled her into some nearby brush.
