Valerie’s POV
The conference room fell silent. Everywhere had quieted down. I slowly watched as skeptical expressions shifted from one person to the other as their heads nodded in unison.
“Are we clear on this now? The termination clause.” I announced, keeping my voice firm yet so calm. “The final judgment is; if they want to hand the project over to the other company after we have already invested a lot. Invested our time, energy, and resources. There must also be consequences attached to it.”
