“I’m sure you both heard me. So, what dial? I can help.”
The kids remained silent. “Excuse me, I have to go get that. I’ll be back after I run a quick shower too. So we can talk about who y’all are dialing.”Valerie said, in response to the sound of her phone ringing.
“We were so lucky.” Maya said, the moment Valerie was out of sight.
“Yes. We have to be quick, let us go to grandma then,” Maya said.
Roco placed his toy on the table before walking behind Maya. “Do you think Daddy will be with his phone to pick up Grandma’s call?” Roco questioned as strided behind Maya.
“Grandma, your cooking smells so good. I can't wait to mouth down all of it.” Roco said.
