Jaden asked as they go one on one against each other in court while waiting for others to join.
"What do you mean?"
They were merely killing time and warming up before practice began and he noticed that Laurence was a lot more tense than usual.
"I don't know. You look... is it because they didn't catch the guy that did that to..."
Judging by the way his expression changed upon mentioning what happened to Milly, he must be having a hard time relaxing these days.
It was a close call and they knew it. He could have easily hurt her seriously or worse and the police still didn't have any idea who it was. CCTVs around the school didn't give them any clues at all. They thought whoever put the notes in her locker changed clothes right after so the footage wouldn't catch him.
