"I don't understand. What exactly happened?"
Ryan paced the length of their locker room at the back of the gymnasium while Laurence sat on the bench with his head hovering above his knees.
He learned that something happened the morning later when he opened the gate too early because Laurence was already camping there, waiting for Milly to talk to him. Of course, his cousin hadn't opened her bedroom door no matter how many times he knocked.
