Alpha David's POV
I wish I could be there to help my Mate set up the house, but I need to attend to my Alpha Duties, and with being gone for a week, things have fallen behind.
I am so busy that I did not even realize that it was lunchtime when Tamra mind-linked me to ask me to come home for lunch.
I do not like to tell her no, so I need to make it up to her somehow. I know when she takes over the paperwork for new pack members and work logs and other paperwork, I will have more free time on my hands.
As I go through some of the documents, I notice that we have an unusual number of requests to join our pack, not only locally but from other states. I call my Beta Jake and ask if he knows what is going on, and he tells me he does not know but will look into it and get back to me.
