JACK'S POV
I rushed out to get Hannah her handbag. I did not return to the house immediately because I wanted her to bond with my step mother Lily. Lily is so good and kind and I knew for a fact that she will learn one or two things from her.
After giving them a couple of minutes to talk, I decided to go back in.
No sooner had I reached the main door when Hannah rushed out of the house crying.
I tried to ask her what had happened but she totally ignored me.
In that moment I chose to talk to Lily in stead. At least for her she would be more open with me. As for Hannah, I would talk to her later on.
"Is everything okay?" I asked Lily as soon as I saw her.
