Evelyn's POV Like a rose carefully placed in a vase, Julian gently laid me down on the bed. Just as he was about to let go, I tightened my arms around his neck. “Don’t let go yet,” I whispered. “How am I supposed to not let go? You know I’ve been waiting for this moment a long time,” he murmured, his words bold, but he didn’t move an inch. He just stayed still, letting me hold him, his broad hands gliding down my spine, gradually tightening their grip. Honestly… I was just too shy. My dress was wide open at the front.
