“So… what happened? Why did he suddenly go radio silent?”
“Well… it’s not a big deal. That day he came over, Sebastian showed up at the same time. I canceled on him so Sebastian wouldn’t notice.”
I gave her the rundown of that day, including Julian’s glance when he left—the one that haunted my nightmares for days.
“Do you think he’s jealous?”
“No way. We’re not even that kind of relationship.”
“Then maybe he wants to cut things off,” Maddie analyzed. “Guys are basically animals—they do whatever the hell they want. Even if they’re jealous, they wouldn’t just… go without s*x, right?”
