The mere mention of food was enough to remind everyone they hadn’t eaten anything since breakfast the previous day. Any thoughts of Johnathan were quickly drowned by the noise of growling stomachs.
Luuj took command again. “The best bet would be to do what we did yesterday—split up into groups and go looking for something edible. Don’t eat anything yourself, though, no matter how hungry you are. Just make a note of where it can be found, and bring a sample back here for testing.”
