Ugh my head! What happened last night?!
Waking up after drinking heavily is the best! SAID NO ONE EVER! My head is going to explode then implode back into my head only to explode all over again. Looking around this is not my apartment, what the hell is going on around here? Why are there feet in my face? Haha i'm still asleep right? I don't want to look around my body aches all over and what if the other victims are here?... Please don't let this be a psycho killers house. Fingers crossed. The room is really beautiful though, and the blanket is so fluffy! This place says 'I have money bitches'. I'm grateful that my clothes are still on at least. Slipping outta bed I realize its Emily's feet in my face! Should have know, that girls a crazy sleeper. The room is so calming with cream colored curtains, fluffy baby blue pillows around the plush cream and blue colored couch. Its simple but beautiful, with cream and blues accenting the walls. Plus there's a walk in closet and a bathroom in it! This person definitely has money for sure. I use the restroom and when i come out Angie was coming in with some towels and I sigh into myself. Thank goodness!
"Good morning, how'd you sleep? Angie asked holding the towels
"well I guess good but, then i woke up with a heart attack when i seen I wasn't home." I chuckled lightly "and Emily had her toes in my face, I might have cuddled them last night"
"Ya we were gonna take you guys home but you passed out in the car and we couldn't wake you up to ask your address and Emily was saying something about a s**t hole on fourth but no one could get anything else from her" she slightly laughed at the memory. "So I took you two to my place"
"This place is really beautiful Angie"
"Thanks I actually did most of this myself, i'm a DIY kinda person" Angie said smiling
"you got skills, you should come do my place too'' I said earnestly
"Its a hobby really, but any way I can help I will" she said happily
"wow your a really nice person, we just met but you've treated me like a really friend, thank you" I said a little overwhelmed at her kindness.
"Us women gotta stick together" Angie said flexing her muscle being silly to lessen my sadness
''Hey can I ask you a question?" I asked nervously "Did I embarrassed myself last night?"
"Well you did do one more Karaoke number and i gotta say you got some pipes on you!" Angie gushed "But then you insisted on being a bar tender and saying you know flavor profiles, your a chef then you actually convinced the bartender to make a drink 'your' way and it was freaking Delicious.'' she teased
"Oh I see you met fun Kiki'' doing air quote with my fingers sarcastically
"Ya we all met her last nigh, but trust me it wasn't that bad you were a blast" Angie smiled
"Ok so a serious question, what song did i sing second?" I asked nervously looking down.
"Well you said you had one friend that's not in your life and that you missed so much it hurt'' Angie said with sadness in her eyes "almost crying then got on stage and sang 'we belong together by Mariah Carey' but when you sang it, you sang it with your whole being. It was pretty powerful"
"So I did embarrassed myself" I said sarcastically
"It could have been way worse so, there's that" she said with a shrug.
"Hey don't forget when she tripped walking away from a fight" Emily said sleepily from the bed
"I didn't trip!" I said defensively "It was a slight stumble" I pouted.
"Hey I thought you were pretty cool" Angie chimed in "You were like 'you hit like a girl' and walked away"
"Stumbled away" Emily corrected
"Alright, Alright!'' I interrupted "Who needs coffee? I know I do" I said changing the subject
"I forgot! I brought towels just in case you needed to shower to perk up" Angie said
I blushed at the memory of me in my towel with Emily last nigh. I swear she read my mind because she was smiling at me with a wolfish grin.
"I'll shower first" i said quickly "Then we can all get breakfast?"
"I'm off today so i'm free" Angie said
"Same" Emily said
"Alright I'll be quick" then i paused looking at Angie "Can I barrow something?" Angie laughed with a nod.
"Sure, but your kind of short so it might be harder for pants"
"I don't care, anythings fine"
"i'll look, you go shower''
"i'll be ready in 10mins'' I said quickly
"I'll go after you'' Emily said still sleepy
As i'm in the shower I can't help but think about last night. It was a crazy birthday for sure. I had my first s****l encounter with another girl, I sang karaoke twice, I made new friends and I almost got into a fight. Plus I didn't throw up! So overall it was a successful birthday. One of my best hands down, but the best was when my first friend Luke, made me a cake. I had just started living in the barn when I met him, he was home schooled so he was always home. I remember when he called out to me in the woods by the barn. I always though I was just so insignificant that no one ever noticed me or even bothered to talk to me but then again Luke was special. He could tell I was homeless and had no one but he didn't judge me. He just beamed at me with his beautiful smile and was happy another kid his age was home from school too. We would play and he would bring me food. He would even teach my school stuff that I was missing. He was probably the best person I've ever known. When he died I cried for weeks. Out of all the men that have hurt me in my life he hurt me the most when he died.
