As me and Emily walk up to the bar we notice there some people hanging out, outside. Its a Thursday night there shouldn't be to many people right? We walk in and to my surprise its a freaking karaoke night! Oh great, now i know my drunk ass is going to feel ball-z and probably sing something stupid... Yay can't wait to remember all of this tomorrow.
Me and Emily grab our drinks and are happy drinks are half price on karaoke nigh. I'm guessing that's how they get so many people to sing. They give them half price drinks so then there nice and drunk an ready to sing there hearts out. Oh ya I know i'm going to end up doing it too. Maybe i should decide my song now? Hummm maybe something fun.. "teenagers by MCR" that's totally fun. I was so lost in thought i didn't realize Emily was already placing her quarters on the pool table, signaling were up next on the game. Where sitting there chatting waiting our turn when they announce the next person to sing.
"Jaxs J. with the song 'teenagers'' announced the DJ
"Hey that's my song!" I yell at Emily over the cheers.
"Then go up with him!" she said happily
"Maybe I will!'' I said in a huff. I was no where near drunk enough to be that courageous but to hell with it its my birthday still right? I stand up stiffly and make my way to the stage.
"Hey Jaxs" be nice! big smiles Kiki!
"Hey whats up? Do I know you?'' Jaxs asked confused
"Well technically no, but this was kinda supposed to be my karaoke song soooo" I trailed off a little awkwardly. "how about a duet?" dang I was feeling shy....
"Hell ya! Lets do this!" Jaxs exclaimed excitedly. He went to the DJ and got another microphone. I was starting to get nervous, I was not intoxicated enough for this. I was walking on stage then i heard a loud yell
"GO KIKI! YOU GOT THIS!" Emily shouted from the back. Oh great, now I know i'm defentaly gonna suck!
So there I am standing on stage next to Jaxs waiting to sing but I forgot! I didn't even tell him my name! Before the song starts I extend my hand to Jaxs
"I'm Kiki by the way" I said shyly.
"Nice to meet you, i'm Jaxs" he said coolly, while shaking my hand. Now that I was looking at him, he was freaking HOT! Sandy blonde hair, honey eyes and one of those 'I can charm anyone' smile. This was gonna be awkward later, but for now time to focus. Before I could say anything else the music started.

"That was freaking amazing!!" Jaxs yelled happily
"Dude I was so scared but then the song started and I remember, 'hey this is your jam! These boots where not worn for nothing' then i just went for it" I said overly excited. I had such a good time I totally forgot everyone was watching us on stage. "we better get off the stage" i said quickly
"So whats up with that song for you? you were really into it" I asked Jaxs as we made our way to the bar.
"I don't know, it just feels like i'm a rebellious teenager again and it feels good. You Know what I mean? Sometimes you got to break stuff you know?" he explained excitably
"Same! Sometimes I just want to punch people in the face so instead I punch bread dough down!" I said happily showing off my little arm muscle in a flex. Jaxs laughed at this, while nodding his head.
"It was nice meeting you, do you want to hang with us?" he gestured to a near by table. Before I could say anything Emily was stuck to my side.
"We'd love to! Its kiki's birthday today!" Emily gave me a teasing look as I rolled my eyes. My birthdays are usually cursed so I wasn't to keen on telling people that it was my birthday. The more its said out loud the more cursed it becomes.
"Cool" Jaxs said drooling over Emily. I couldn't help but laugh at this. I swear she can turn any man into jelly, shes just to good! I'm the best friend/little sister type, but i'm ok with that.
We walked to there table and there was two other guys and one girl. They all had a similar air to them.
"Are you all related?' I asked curiously. Then they laughed, and let me tell you they all had identical laughs! That confirmed it for me, there family no doubt.
"This is Mark my oldest brother, Peter is the youngest and me and Angie are in the middle and twins" Jaxs explained.
"Wow your all really pretty" i blurted out.
"Thanks" They all chuckled. Ugh why am I so embarrassing all the time.
"So Emily Kiki how do you two know each other?" Peter asked.
"Well i was a barista at a bakery when Kiki had just started working there as a baker and we kinda just became friends" Emily say causally. That's kind of true but after getting yelled at so many times and just taking it, Emily was furious so she yelled at our boss for it. She befriended me when i was to shy to say anything.
"We worked there for two years together then Kiki opened up her own shop and I was her first employee" Emily said proudly.
"Now shes employee of the month every month" I said jokingly
"Do you do catering too?" Jax asked
"Yes we do" I said matter a factually
"Great! Do you have a card? My boss is having an event and we were looking for someone local"
"Yes I do. Call this weekend, i'll be there and we can go over your options'' i said while handing him a card
"Look at you all business like! Knock it off! Its time to have fun!" Emily teased
"Shots! Shots! Shots!" Emily started chanting, encouraging others to chant with her.
Soon we were floating on the buzz. We were playing teams girls vs boys and let me tell you. We all sucked. It became a game of who could miss the best. When you've drank enough, things like winning don't matter and playing just to suck is a blast. who ever made it got boo'ed. I was surprised at how much fun I was having. But don't forget its me. Soon i was to drunk. I stepped outside and literary tripped into a garbage can. Good thing I had my boots on because I stepped into some mystery stuff and it squashed up the sides of my boots. I had tracked the mystery mess inside and this pretty blond girl walking by slipped in it. She knocked over some random people then looked at me like she was going to murder me right here and now.
"I'm so sorry. I didn't realize I had anything under my shoes" I apologized.
"Your a lair! All because of your ugly shoes you have to bully me because i'm pretty" She was fake crying.
"What does that have to do with anything?!" I was pissed. Ya i get it i'm not special but i'm not mean!
"Now your yelling at me!" tears in her eyes "I can't believe they let someone so lowly in here. Why don't you do us all a favor and just leave. Your EVERYTHING is disgusting me." she said with a snarl
"Well I could do that, but i'm not" i said with a shrug. "why don't you just stop causing a scene over nothing."

"Well ya, but your obviously a bigger one" i said plainly
I couldn't believe it This girl went to slap me!? I was so surprised when her hand brushed my cheek. I looked at her and started to laugh. I mean really laugh. I was full on busting a gut! I couldn't believe she actually called that a 'slap'. I've been hit enough times in my life that, that was probably the nicest anyone's ever hit me!
"That was so cute! Did you actually try with that one?" I was still chuckling "your not worth my time at all'' I was starting to walking away when she tried to grab my shoulder, i felt it coming and moved away. She fell face first in the mystery stuff.
"Wow. That's Karma for ya" i said with a smile. Then walked away.
