Chapter 9As far as the staff in Ben’s department was concerned, Kristian Anders would have to prove himself. They had all truly liked Sharon, so the new boss was definitely on probation. By the end of the first week, however, he had them all eating out of his hand. Almost. Phil Massini continued to be sullen and defensive, a constant thorn in Ben’s flesh, and he spent a lot of time sucking up to Anders. But, Ben admitted, Anders had done a wonderful job of making the staff feel at ease and appreciated. The test, of course, would come later, when he had to make hard decisions.
