By the time they reached the lodge, Clint had already gotten back and given the all-clear. keyed in to let them know he was taking Rikki directly to his and Thierry’s cabin, where his wife was waiting. The others agreed to meet up there as soon as they checked on the remaining guests.
Art stopped at the place where he and Rikki had shed their clothing and changed into his human form to get dressed. Gathering up her things, he called over to Thierry.
“Mountain King to Mama Bear.”
“Mama Bear, go. If you’re inquiring about the kitty cat, she’s completely over her ordeal and waiting for you.”
