CHAPTER 11 As he left Hadyn’s training rooms and emerged into the afternoon light, Brynach paused and took a deep breath of the chill, refreshing air. Felt good after the stuffiness and heat of sparring. Odd, there was Rhian, as if she’d been waiting for him. She looked uncomfortable and wouldn’t meet his eyes. “Can we go talk somewhere?” she said. “How about the huntsman’s office?” he suggested. “No one will be there.” “Good.” They walked in companionable silence through the kennel gates.
