Jayden texted to say he was on his way but it’s been an hour. It does take too long to get here from the packhouse so hopefully he will be here soon. I’m extremely anxious, but I’m trying to use my work to stay level headed. This is crazy and I hope that Jayden approaches the news with a level head.
I keep working while keeping my eyes on the clock. Time keeps ticking away, but no Jayden. I’m starting to get a little pissed. How is it that he would tell me that he was on the way yet not show up? He has never been that type of person and I can’t imagine that he is so mad that he would do that now. Employee after employee keep stopping by the office to say goodbye for the day and I’m not sure how much longer I should wait.
Maybe there was some trouble at the pack.
