I’ve been done for a while, but I’m not sure exactly how long. I kind of stopped keeping track after a while in the wilderness. I did leave with a set destination; I just needed to get away. I left my car somewhere safe and set out into the woods. Being a wolf, I know how to live off of the land though hunting as a human is much different than as a wolf. That being said, I have been able to get by. I guess I thought that being close to nature would help me get Winnie back. As wolves, we are drawn to nature naturally. It felt good to live in the elements, but I made my way back to the car so I could check in with the pack.
“Mm….Melanie? Is that you?”
“Yeah, it’s me,” I chuckle. “How is it that you’re answering the Alpha’s phone instead of the Alpha?” The other end of the line
