Max’s POV (after the siren sounded) Just as we exited the back door, Bobby came running up the porch stairs in warrior mode. “Luna, what’s the plan?” Bobby and I moved away from my mates, the sounds of their distant chatter fading as the weight of our mission settled in. The cool night air brushed against my skin, carrying the faint scent of pine and damp earth. “We need to eliminate the witches. I bet the Alpha’s are sending the Elite team, but brute force won’t help here—we need stealth, precision. Did you grab my gear?” I asked, scanning his face for any sign of doubt. “Right here.” Bobby said as he handed me my bow, knives, and blades.
