THE next morning I woke up early because I still had something to do at school

I was already wearing my uniform and I looked at myself in the mirror if I was looking good. My hair was tied up in a messy bun. I smiled in the mirror until I was satisfied.

When I got to the dining area I saw my mom still dancing while preparing food. I saw my dad just watching him dance. Iba talaga kapag In love.

"Kumain ka na," nakangiting sabi ni mama at naupo na rin sa tapat ko. "Eliseo kain na!"

Nakita kong sinayaw rin ni papa 'yong sinasayaw ng mama ko kanina kaya bahagya akong natawa nang makita ko ang naasar na mukha ni mama.

"Eliseo naman eh!" Nakasimangot na suway ni mama kay papa nang umupo na ito sa tabi niya.

"Galing mo kasing sumayaw," kantyaw naman ni papa kaya hinampas siya ng pot holder ni mama. "Oo nga pala nasabi mo na ba sa kaniya?"

"Oo nga pala Krystle," Taka naman akong tumingin sa kanila habang kumakain. "Lio will pick you up later." My eyes widened when I heard that name.

"Kaya ko namang umuwi ng mag-isa ah?" Reklamo ko dahil ayaw ko lang na sunduin niya ako.

That jerk!

"Oh, C'mon you're not the old Krystle," hindi ko alam pero iba ang dating ng pagkasabi niya. Yeah he's right I'm not the old Krystle. "Susunduin ka lang naman."

I didn't answer anymore I just finished my meal and took a jeep going to school.

I saw Rodge and Jasmine immediately waiting for me at the gate. Jasmine hugged me tightly. Rodge just looked at me.

"Sungit naman ng isa dyan!" Pagpaparinig ko kay Rodge hindi niya naman ako pinansin.

"Kinikimkim pa kasi bakit kasi binusted mo!" Natatawang aniya ni Jasmine at sinikuhan si Rodge.

Hindi niya kami pinansin sa halip ay tinalikuran niya kami at una unang pumasok sa school. Hinabol ko siya dahil ang laki ng bawat hakbang niya.

"Uy Rodge," malambing kong tawag sa kaniya. "Kasi naman eh!" I frown

"Tsk," 'tila nagkislap ang mga mata ko nang harapin niya ako. "What?"

"I'm sorry," I said

"It's okay."

"I don't want to ruin our friendship. You're special to me you know that but I can't be the girl you want. Being friends with you mean so much to me," Seryoso kong pag-explain sa kaniya. "I value our friendship more than anything else." 

He looked into my eyes to check if I was telling the truth. When contented that he had avoided her gaze.

"It's okay I understand." Iyon lang at hindi na kami nag-usap pa.

When I got to the classroom I saw Zeih and EJ. They are the group I avoid because I fear them too.

Kinabahan ako nang makita kong may nakadikit ng sticky notes sa arm chair ko.

"45 days Oliveros." I frowned at them. I don't know what that number implies.They didn't even say what it was.

They are the only people scare me because they can take your breathe for five seconds and I have no idea how they can do that.

"What's this?" I faced them.

"A note?" Zeih answered and I head EJ smirked.

"I need you to do our projects and assignments in one week or else you're leaving after 45 days." I was shocked at the moment.

Am I a slave here?

"Why me?"

"Why not you?"

"Fine!" Pilit akong pumayag at umupo na lang at nakinig sa klase.

Our Minor Subjects are Chemistry, Physics, College Algebra, Biochemistry, Bioethics, World Literature, Rizal, Economics and Taxation, Philosopy, Physical Education and Psychology.

Sa buong klase na iyon at iniisip ko pa rin kung bakit ako ang inutusan nila Zeih.

Nang pumunta ako sa locker room inilay ko na ang gamit ko at kinuha lang ang dalawang note na may assignment na kailangang ipasa bukas. May project din kaming kailangan ipasa.

When I got out, Zeih and EJ blocked me. I took a deep breath and handed them both my hands. It felt so heavy when they put their stuffs in my hands. I endured the weight until I got to the school gate.

I immediately saw the familiar Ferrari 458 car so I quickly went and he opened the door for me. I put the stuff in the back and hid my wrist because it was red.

"How's school?" Gulat akong napalingon sa kaniya dahil hindi naman siya iyong tipong tao na magtatanong ng ganito.

"Okay lang naman." Kalmado kong tanong at isinandal ang ulo ko sa mah bintana at umidlip.

I woke up when I felt the car stop. When I looked out the window we were in front of our house.

I took my belongings at the back and got off the car. I was about to stumble because of the weight I was carrying and good thing it didn't happen.

"Thank you Lio." Hindi niya ako sinagot sa halip ay siya pa ang naunang pumasok sa bahay.

He greeted my parents and didn't even bother to look at me. I went straight to my room to put things and took a shower after.

I'm already wearing pajamas because I'm going to make the assignments needed to be pass tomorrow.

I heard three knocks from the door so I stood to open it. I was shocked when I saw Lio.

"Lio, anong ginagawa mo rito?" Sa halip na sagutin ako ang tingin niya ay nasa kamay ko.

"Show me your wrists." Hindi iyon basta sabi lang isa iyong utos na kailangan kong sundan.

Huminga ako ng malalim at inilahad sa kaniya ang pulsuhan ko. He let out of sighed nang hawakan niya ang magkabilang pulsuhan ko.

"Is that yours?" Turo niya sa mga notes na nasa table ko.

"Yes, why?"

"Can I see?" Hahakbang na sana siya papasok nang pigilan ko siya.

"Don't invoke my privacy Mr. Schmitt." Saka ko siya sinarhan ng pinto.

I held my chest as I felt strange beat and afraid that he might find out something.
