Chapter Five
Kami woke one morning to find Mistress X gone. She had been gone nearly every morning when she got up since they moved to Slunt. The fact that she was gone like this didn’t really bother Kami; she just figured that she went back to Strap, which was a fifteen to twenty minute drive from Slunt, to work as a private dominatrix for many of her clients when she wasn’t working at the hostel. Kami also figured Mistress X wanted to keep up appearances by making the neighbors think that she was going to work in the morning, which she was at least in a technical sense. Kami never bothered to ask Mistress X where she ran off to every morning. They had an unspoken understanding between them that they could do whatever they wanted when they were by themselves. This suited Kami just fine.
