“Let her go!” Ivy yelled as I immediately took a deep breath when Lucifer let me go. Coughing hard. Taking as much air into my lungs. Filling them with life. “You’re okay, Venus?” she asked but I couldn’t answer. It was too hard for me to speak. Lucifer literally stopped me from breathing. If Ivy hadn’t come, I’d be dead. “Who the f**k are you?!” she rudely asked. She couldn’t see him? No, the room was too dark for her to see Lucifer. He didn’t even speak. “I don’t know who you are for you to attack a woman like that, you’re the lowest! Freak! Go away!” she bellowed and pulled me to her chest, protecting me from him. From the man who wanted to save her. The room was still dark but I was still able to feel him inside. “Please, just leave us alone,” she begged again.
