It was 6pm already and she was already heading out but she wanted Jimmy to see her,it’s been a while she had looked this good and she knew she was looking good.Jill was still lost in her thought and she didn’t realize that jimmy had walked in and was already at the kitchen counter putting down the groceries.

As she drove closer about a mile away from the school building she could hear the music playing from the school’s baseball field,when she got the invite for the reunion she thought it was pretty dumb for them to use the baseball field as their venue but as she walked in she immediately fell in love with what they had done with the place.

“Where is mike anyways”as Jill spoke she looked round to see if she could catch a glimpse of him but he was no where in sight

That was definitely a phase Jill don’t beat yourself up, we ended things about a month ago and I decided to put in all that energy into making this place look as magnificent as it does now.

“Ally!!! Jill looked at her shocked,she had forgotten how things worked with Allison and she had definitely missed her friend.

Snapping out of her thoughts and back to reality Jill asked “ so you came alone,or doesn’t the plus one rule apply to you too?

“Of course I have a date and I feel you guys might have a little catching up to do,infact you could call this a double reunion if you wish too “Allison had this devilish smile on her face as she spoke and Jill knew she was up to no good.

“Goodness gracious Ally,what have u done,who did you bring???she asked scared

“Before I introduced you too ,just know that it’s really nothing serious we just bumped into each other at the airport on my way back from Spain and we kinda kicked things off immediately” Jill could sense Ally getting a little uncomfortable as she spoke so she tried to lighten up the conversation a bit when she blurted out “can you cut to the chase already it’s not like you are f*****g my husband or anything”

“Eww Jill Gross,no offense but I’ll pass “Ally replied laughing.”not your husband but My date is McLean,john McLean.

“My McLean?”

“Hmmm you don’t have a Maclean jill”

“True,but the McLean we know is here,with you?why?”jill look at her friend still trying to understand the situation and how to react to it

“His my date”Allison said casually

Look jill,she continued I am sorry I didn’t know you were still hung in to that I thought you must have moved on by now,it was so long ago.

Allison wasn’t wrong but no,no she wasn’t right either,off all people McLean? How could she. But most importantly what was he doing back here ? And if he was at here what would he think of her now but why did she care so much? He left her,he broke her heart ,he lied to her and played her like a toy.

“Okay this was definitely not the introduction I was hoping you two would have and I am beginning to feel like the third wheel and last I checked you are with me ,or aren’t you honey?Allison was obviously beginning to feel a bit awkward not necessarily jealous just uncomfortable.

“Sorry Allison but give us a moment please”he dragged Jill by her arm and everyone just stared at them in a very weird way.Allison stood there,alone,”did that just happen”she asked herself ,trying to take charge of the situation she turned to the group of people standing closest to her and said hello.

“I am sorry, I didn’t mean too , I just really need to talk to you and I know this isn’t the right place for this conversation but I was hoping I can at least apologize,I am sorry I left you I shouldn’t have I was selfish and was trying to do what I thought was best for me but I miss you Jills,I miss you and I never stopped.

“It was so long ago,why do you think I care anymore?jill asked
