After an eventful afternoon with my siblings and Daniel I brought Molly and Julian to bed. “Goodnight Molly, I love you,” I tell her, tucking her into her bed and lightly kissing her forehead.
She smiles up at me sleepily saying, “Goodnight sissy, I love you too.” She snuggles into her blanket and closes her eyes.
I stand up and reach up to Julian on the top bunk, climbing the ladder I lean over and hug him, saying, “Goodnight Julian. You’re a good big brother to Molly. I love you.” Then I kiss him on the forehead.
Julian hugs me back, smiling. “Thank you Annabelle. I love you too. Have a goodnight.” He then pulls up his blanket and turns onto his side.
I come down from the ladder, turn on the night lamp and turn the room light off as I step out of the room, closing the door behind me.
