I finish up my lunch then head to the police station. I got Daniel to stay home to wait for Molly as I didn’t want to risk her coming home to an empty house. I had called the station ahead of time so they were expecting me.
I get out of my car and head into the police station, stopping at the front desk. “Hello, I’m Annabelle Richardson, I called about seeing Andy Cormier.”
The officer looks at me and says, “Yes, they’re waiting for you, you can go through those doors there.” They point towards the doors leading into the back rooms.
I thanked her and walked towards those doors, going straight through them and stopping to see the two police officers that had come to arrest Andy earlier.
