And so it begins

Anna’s pov.

“”oh you’re a naughty woman, I like that" he wags his finger at me and i shrug flipping my hair over my shoulder. “Would that be a problem?” He licks his lips shaking his head. “No but it is a very big turn on to me” his hand reaches for my own just as a throat clears behind me.

“Can i speak to you for a second Anna” Nekoliya interjects smoothly a playful glare on her face. I smile at Alexander and excuse myself pouting at the claw grip she has on my hand.

“Anna what are you doing?” She whisper yells startling me and i frown. “I am representing Theresa and gaining her some of the biggest clientele Nekoli” she rubs her face with her hands then proceeds to roll her eyes “She didn’t exactly mean flirt with the clients”

Reaching into my clutch i pull the small long black tube out of my bag to reapply my lipstick ignoring her disapproving stare. “If that’s what it takes then so be it Nekoliy besides i am only being kind.”

“Yeah you call that hungry staring contest you two were sharing being kind I’ll be sitting at our table when you’re done with your game” she huffs hitting my shoulder with hers to put emphasis on her angry exit.

I close my eyes and take in a deep breath before recollecting my composure ready to face the fake dazzling rich smiles once again when the breath on my neck startles me.

“I guess your little encounter did not go well?” Alexander states the obvious and i refrain from biting my lip as he leans away from my sweet spot he was nearing.

My body sags and i fully turn to face him. “It’s that obvious isn’t it?” He closes one eye and looks at me through the other . “Well seeing as i was quite intrigued by two angry women going at it face to face , i did some analyzing” he shrugs carelessly after admitting he was basically eavesdropping on us and i sigh.

“Oh god what did you hear?” I ask as we stood side by side looking at the ongoing crowd who are interacting. “$300,000" a greying woman shouts and after three calls for objections for higher bidders the host shouts “sold” and so it continues.

“I heard nothing” he turns to me with a heart stopping smile and my heart beat soars in my chest with a happy leap. He was such a heartthrob and i took his answer as is.

“Okay” we stay of a centimeter distance staring into the crowd in silence until he breaks it. “Oh i got you a list of a few clients” he hands two papers with a list of names on them.

My eyes nearly bulge out of my head. “Some?” I shriek forgetting my surroundings in the sheer of my own excitement. “That is more than i could ask for oh my god i don’t even know what to say Alexander, Thank you” i smile tackling him by surprise with a hug.

He hugs me back in a tight embrace and i smell him. Basking in the sweet husky sent on his body and skimming my hands over the soft material of his suit. We pull away and i awkwardly take a few steps back.

My phone buzzes and i look down at it shocked that it is already nearing 11 pm.

“Need to be somewhere?” Alexander asks staring into his glass of champagne with a hand in his pant pocket.

I tuck a strand to the back of my ear and lick my lips. “Yes i was just checking the time because Miss Theresa is sick at home and i never know when she will need me” i say and he nods.

“Okay then I’ll allow you to go now but can i ask you something?” He asks me and my heart begins to do happy leaps again. Unable to say a word i nod.

“Would you do me the honor of going on a zoo date with me?” He asks seriously and i look at him humorously. “What ?” He acquires timidly and my stomach flips as i give him a genuine grin “I would love to”
