Tyler jumped as the shards poked his upper thigh, hurriedly pulling out the remnants of a very expensive item he had purchased not three weeks earlier. “What? How did you…? Do you know how much that cost?!” Tyler yelled, moving from shock to anger in seconds. “Less than what I have to offer, young Master,” the large man replied mysteriously. “I said I’m not –” “But you are, young Master.” “Stop that!” Tyler shot back, his anger overtaking the confusion building at the back of his mind. “Are you not the owner of the little auction room at the back of the alley?” the man rumbled, his volume staying the same yet somehow lowering.
