CLARITY
I went out to the balcony both to catch some fresh air and to escape the dress-up session inside. I already expected they’d be meticulous, but we’ve been there for hours, and they still haven’t decided yet.
Patrick was sulking when he had to leave early as he was called for duty, but if this worked, they would be able to see each other often, given the short distance. I’m sure his sisters knew that. Otherwise, they wouldn’t monopolize Yasmin just to tease their brother.
My thoughts were cut short after I heard weak chirps from my side. I saw a bird lying on the ground. I quickly approached it, knelt on the ground and picked it up, thinking that it was injured, but I didn’t see any injuries. It was simply weak and seemed to have already let out its last breath.
