Aaron's POV I shut the bathroom door with my shoulder. I’d taken the arm sling off earlier and left it on the bed. My arm felt heavier without it. The pain lingered, dull and persistent. I turned on the shower with one hand. Water hit the tile, cold at first, then warming as steam crept up. I stepped under it, letting the water run over my back and chest, careful to keep it off my right side. Even the smallest movement made the muscles tighten. Damn it.
