Epilogue
The 2019 holiday season was coming to an end. Ran and Parrish had spent Thanksgiving with Felicia, her husband, and their twins, who had just turned one. Parrish had become a good cook—well, the best cook of the four of them—and had roasted the turkey at the Campbells’ home, while Ran and Philip had dealt with the sides and Felicia kept the twins amused. Among the things Parrish had brought for the twins’ birthday were Pilgrim outfits he’d selected for their bears. It had been cute watching Parrish crawl around on the floor with the little boy and girl, enough so Ran began wondering whether they should expand their family either by adopting or surrogacy.
