Chapter 13 The next day dawned sunny but cool, and Parrish pretty much danced as he made his way to the kitchen. He and Ransom had chatted for hours—he couldn’t even remember what they’d spoken about, but the warm sound of his lover’s voice in his ear had made it a Christmas to remember with pleasure. He searched the pantry for something for breakfast. He’d gotten carried away the night before and used up all his butter, and now he had no intention of eating another English muffin with fake butter.
