The weekend passed by quickly, and babysitting Bella was the only good part of it. Even though Lily was exhausted, spending time with Bella was never an inconvenience. Her mood was foul and dark when she arrived to take care of Bella, but within seconds, the young girl had her smiling widely and laughing like she hadn’t a care in the world. Nothing lifted Lily’s mood like that sweet ball of joy.
However, it was Monday morning and Lily’s mood was back to being sour. Her anger towards Kyle and that stupid smug teacher, Mr. Taylor, had festered over the weekend while she rested in bed.
