Lily swallowed her doubts and her reluctance, focusing on her anger and hatred instead. Kyle had heartlessly rejected her and left her to suffer in the forest, he had bullied her for years and worst of all he had tried to force himself on her. He needed to be taught the lesson that when you push someone too hard, they’ll start to fight back.
She put the roll of duct tape in her crossover handbag, hiding it from Kyle’s sight as she made her way toward him. The sun was high enough in the sky that Lily could make out Kyle’s confused expression as he glanced around the parking lot looking for Sam. His cold blue gaze found Lily and fixed on her as she approached him.
