The Run

The run there whent smoothly. No more rogues enywhere. I was a bit sad...would have been Nice with a good fight or two. We stopped once at a small river about half way there. I whent to drink a bit and then sat down. Looking at Ben to do the same. He looked gratefull. He sank down where he stod and let out a big puff before closing his eyes.

* The boy is tierd.

Morrigan staded in our head.

* Yeah...but he keept a good pace.

* Pft we were not runing that fast. We would have alreddy been there if we had run like I whant.

* Agreed.. but he is still weak.

Morrigan nodded her head and stayed quiet.

Why did i care? I didnt, Morrigan was the one that whanted to save this little puppy. Not me! I groweld and Ben jerked his head to look at me. Time to leave. Turning around and started to walk he got up slowly. I groweld again and speeded...he knew what I whanted and keept up. But only for for another houre. I looked back and he wasnt there enymore.

* Where is that boy?

I said annoyed. Turned around and started heading back to look for him.

* I can smell him, hes not far.

Morrigan said sniffing the air.

* We must have pushed him to hard.

* Hft..He should be fine.

I said a bit annoyed. He could have said something. We ran for about a minut more and there he was, lying on the ground. He had shifted back to human form and was breathing hard. I shifted as well to be Abel to talk to him.

* You dead?

He lifted his head and looked at me, pain in his eyes.

* Yes. Im sorry i cant run enymore right now. My wolf is tierd.

I sat down infront of him, looking anoyed.

* Why didnt you say enything?

He laughed a litle.

* I am s**t scared of you Arwan.

Now it was my turn to laugh.

* Good. You should be.

Looking around where we were. We where not that far of the border to RiverMoon.

* You are almost home. Can you walk the rest?

* Give me a minut, then I should.

* Fine.

Thats when I heard howling. Morrigans ears perked up.

* Rogues Arwan. They are close.

A big smile grew on my face.

* Good.

Ben started to shake.

- Stay calm Ben. Time for me to have some fun.

- Sounds like there is at last a cuple of them. They are here to take me back.

Fear..I could smel fear coming of him in big waves. I shook my head.

- Just stay quiet.

We shifted in to Morrigan. I heard them coming closer and howled out for them to hear.

* Here litle piggys. Come to mumma.

Morrigan purred in respons in my head.

5 Wolves jumped out from our left and started pacing around us. I could smell at least 3 more hiding. The bigges one, a dark Brown one, started walking up to me, drool hanging out of his jaws. I didnt wait for him to make his move. I whent for his front paws breaking one of them. The Brown wolf feel over and I whent for his neck, ripping it out. Blood now covering my face, dripping down my canines. I loved this feeling, it made me feel so alive. Two more jumped frome my left, dodging one and ripping a big cunk of meat out frome the belly from the other. 3 still standing infront of me. I could not smell the ones hiding enymore. Where they still there?

* Keep youre ears up Morrigan, dont whant them suprising us.

* Dont worry about me Arwan. Just do what you need to do.

Smiling at her in my head i gave out a big growl. The 3 wolfs wimperd and took a step back.

* Oh no you dont.

I said befor leaping for the middle one. Crushing his head with my jaws. I felt someone bit my left fot and lookt around.

* Brave s**t head.

Giving him a kick with the foot he had in his mouth extending my clawes i ripoed the inside of his mouth. He wimpered out.

* More are coming Arwan. A lot more.

Morrigan groweld in my head.Howls lightning up the air. There was at least 20 coming.

* well s**t.

The two woles infront of me started backing more and then took of in a run. I looked back at Ben, he was looking not so scared enymore.

I back over to him, standing infront of him and facing the new ones araving.

* Lets try to at least to give him some time to get away.

I said looking over my shoulder. Why did I care so mutch about Ben? I should just leave him here.

* We cant do that Arwan.

* Pft. He wouldnt do the same for us. No one would.

* Not so sure about that.

Seing the wolfs getting closer i streched out my lengt, making me as big as I could and let out a huge growl shaking the leaves around us.

They stoped. A huge Grey one walked up front and shifted.

- Dad!!

Ben screamed from behind me. I stopped growling and turned to look at him. He was trying to get up but his legs where still to tierd .

- Ben! Are you ok?

Bens fathers eyes still didnt leave my face. Looking a bit scared...did I smell fear of him to?...yes...I could smell it.

- I am fine dad. My legs are just tierd from runing.

He saw his father looking at me.

- That is Arwan, she saved me.

Relieved his eyes left me and looked at his son. I backed of leting them get to him. He ran as soon as I moved, glansig at me just as he pased me.

- Ohh my god Ben! I have been looking for you for 2 years.

I could se the pain in bens eyes again.

- 2 Years? Is that how long they had me?

His father picked him up and huged him tightly. They both started crying.

* Guess our job is done now morrigan, lets go home.

She wimperd as I turned around.

- Arwan!

Ben called for me.

- Dont leave!

I stoped and looked at them. What more dose he whant frome me?

- Shift!

His father said. The comand in his voice made me growl and I opend my mouth showing of my canines.

- Pleas Arwan.

Ben pleaded with me. I stoped growling and looked at him.

* Let se where this goes Arwan.

* Fine....

I huffed befor I shifted. I walked up to Ben and his father.

- Iv done what I said i would do. I would like to go back home now.

His father took out his hand to me. I growel.

- She dosnt like to be touched dad.

Ben staded. His father nodded his head.

- Thank you Miss Arwan for saving my son.

I laughed.

- I dint really save him. They where hunting him on my land. I was there to kill them for trespassing. Somehow my wolf took pitty on him...I did not.

Ben turned a shade red and started to laugh nervusly. I turnd to look at him. He thougt i was joking, I was not.

- I still whant to thank you for getting him back. Please! come with us back to our land. I whant to reward you for helping.

I stared at him for a bit. Why? I dont whant enything. I have what I need.

I looked at Ben, he was still red in the face looking at me with pleading eyes.

* Lets go with them Arwan. Good chanse for you to se how a pack is.

* I dont need a pack. I have you.

* Trust me Arwan.

* Ehh the trust card again morrigan? You seam to bring that out alot now.

* Just do it!

She groweld angry. I looked at Bens Father again.

- Whats youre name?

He gave me a smal smile and stretched.

- I am Alfa Mel Thomsson.

- I wont cal you alfa, I have no alfa.

His eyes darkening, his wolf taking it as a challeng. He stretched again and groweld. Everyone near whent down on one knee. I laughed.

- That wont work on me Mel.

And I groweld frome the bottom of myself. shaking the leaves aroud us. Making everyone wimper and showing their necks to me. Even Mel.

He looked shocked for a bit but shooked it of.

- Fine Arwan. I am just Mel to you.

- Good, then I will follow you back. After you Mel.

I said giving him one of my creapy smiles. He gave me a smal smile and looked at his son.

- You can ride back on me, youre mother will be so happy getting you back home.

Ben gave him a huge smile and nodded.

And then we where of. I waited for al of them to start running and stayed at the back. Never trust enyone beeing my motto.

* You trust me dont you Arwan.

I giggled

* Well thats becouse you are me and I am you. We are one.

She purred in our head. Lets se what she gets us in to now.
