The walk back to the dorm was quiet.
There was sadness… and defeat plastered all over Daniel’s face. He wasn’t the only one who felt that way, but we did what he had to do… or at least what was best for us… for me.
I knew he didn’t like my decision but at least we wouldn’t have to sneak around anymore. And Kenny would finally go back to being the bored, sad little fucker he’d always been.
There would be no trying to control me anymore… and he would leave Daniel alone too.
“It’s cool that you decided to end things, but I won’t let Kenny hurt you… anymore.”
But you couldn’t stop him. I wanted to yell and scream and tell him that he’d already hurt me and that there was nothing else he could do to me that would be worse than this.
