“Daniel,” Jacob called out almost out of breath. “I’m sorry about last night. I…l…”
“Don’t be Jake!” I said sharply, walking in to my room and he just followed, without waiting for me to invite him in.
“Are you okay? You look a mess.” He asked, when we were inside the room.
I’m not okay, Jake. But you wouldn’t care if I told you that.
Jacob had been apologized for not coming over last night… but not about the incident at the office.
“I’m fine. You can leave now.”
A door slammed shut, causing us to jump. “You should go be with Mr Richard.”
