I should've felt relieved. After everything I did. The lies, the sneaking around, and the betrayals, Daniel was still willing to continue with the contract.
But did I? Hell no. I didn’t feel a single relief. The only thing I felt was fear, like everything would come crashing down right in front of me any second now.
Daniel didn’t rip our contract to shreds. But he should have, then I wouldn’t feel like a total crap of a human being.
