I got us a spot outside the school, a nice suite above this really great restaurant, one of the best in New York. I wanted to do something nice for Jacob, and also to get away from the school drama.
Jacob needed some peace, and I needed to figure out what the heck was going on between us. Tonight was gonna be different… no games, no secrets. I just wanted him to see the real me, the me no one in school had ever gotten to see.
