36: Keelin Keelin Keelin had another visitor, mid-morning. This one came from the Proteus. She was alone, and groggy. Lack of sleep had left her with a headache, the kind that would hang around all day. Working helped‌—‌at least, it took her mind off things‌—‌and she was in the middle of making a few corrections to the auxiliary power relays when she got a ping from the starboard sensors. She zoomed in, watched the man step around the nose of the other Proteus. He reached up, patted the hull, and Keelin knew he was the pilot. He sauntered across the landing pad. He wore a hood to protect from the sun, and his eyes peered from the shadow. Keelin took in his attire, and approved.
