48: Ryann Ryann Ryann watched the museum. It was quiet, trapped beneath empty scaffolding. A few people scurried along the main street, ignoring the dim glow that came from the building’s main doors. Lights shone from upper windows. Even without visitors, the museum wasn’t abandoned. There were cleaners and security, and a handful of researchers and admin staff. She waited. A cloud drifted past, filtering the moon’s soft light with an orange sheen. A clunk sounded. Ryann watched as a smaller door, to the right of the main entrance, opened. Five figures emerged. They walked across the street, to a small plaza. When she felt their traces, she caught the edge of annoyance, but nothing more. In the background an alarm rose and fell. More figures appeared and joined their colleagues. Som
