59: Ryann Ryann They took the stairs. Annys led, and Tallia brought up the rear, Ryann their prisoner. Annys stopped them at each level. She covered Ryann with her lash and sent Tallia through the stairwell’s door, to check the way was clear. The assistant was thorough, and their progress was painfully slow. It felt like hours before they reached the ground floor. Annys waved a hand at the door. “Tallia. If you don’t mind?” The assistant stepped through the door, and Ryann focused.
