19 It took me three long, frustrating days of failed attempts before I was finally able to figure out how to open a portal to the Twilight Realm. Granted, it was another two full days until I actually opened one successfully, but I learned the balance of power needed and had been able to create the start of a swirling portal door before I lost concentration and it dissipated. The first time I opened a portal large enough to walk through, I lost my head and began screaming ecstatically. Lochlan came tearing through the trees, bow aimed for possible threats and found me jumping up and down clapping.
