All wet from the rain, I now drag myself slowly into the building, my arms drooping next to my body lifelessly. Suddenly, escaping the storm isn't that important anymore. "Gina!" Gigi yells excitedly. Then her smile fades as she notices my stupefied face. "What happened? Are you okay?" My eyes never meet hers as I stare in front of me in shock, a single tear rolling down my cheek.  "No," I say simply, "No, Gigi, I'm not," then rush into my apartment and as soon as I close the door, I lean onto it - wanting to be swallowed by the ground.
