My hopes were shattered when I woke up in the morning with a sinking feeling in my chest.
I suddenly realized that what happened last night was perhaps too terrible, and that things wouldn’t be able to carry on as usual. Hunter beat up Ricky, and had been seen by him. Things went to s**t with Livette. I wouldn’t even get started on where I currently stood with Caspian.
Everything was just…terrible.
I couldn’t get out of bed for a couple of hours. I lay in bed and tried to find the strength to rise. I prayed to the goddess for guidance, as I would ceryainly need it.
