Livette drove us to Caspian’s house, which was quite a distance away from the school. Nervousness spread through me like wildfires, but the thought of turning back never crossed my mind once. I was ready to face this, and I would be brave about it. Sticking to the plan was essential for things to work out, so I had to start facing this, or I’d find myself in a very sticky situation.
