I had Caspian’s jacket tucked under my arm. It was Friday, and I’d waited the whole week to do this. He’d kept his distance the whole week, not really saying much to me. I felt his eyes on me occasionally, though, and I could feel he wanted to say something. Now, I would take the opportunity to hand him the jacket. I didn’t want to show him total hatred, and that was because I would still need him in order to see my plan through.
