Two days passed, and I was surprised by how fast time went by. Hunter was a lot better, as he could now stand up and walk around. He ignored most of his injuries and took painkillers in order to be able to move around freely. Things were going back to normal. The only difference was that I wasn’t going to school. My plan wasn’t on hold or anything, but I made a decision to stick to his side until he recovered, and that was what I planned on doing. Perhaps tomorrow I’d go back for the last two days of the week, and then I’d come back. But it depended, really. I was still going to speak to my mother about me, and depending on how that conversation went, I might stay with her. I was hopeful. For once, Hunter and I didn’t talk about the plan. We didn’t strategize. We mostly just talk
