"How'd it go?" Hunter asked as soon as he saw me.
I stopped to catch my breath, my hands on my hips. All this walking was going to kill me—I literally walked through the whole town to get here, and my legs were sore.
"Okay," I said. "Better than expected."
"Elaborate."
"I got into their friend group," I said casually, even though this was probably a huge surprise to Hunter. "Livette just happened to be the student picked to show me around."
"Future Luna Livette?"
I nodded.
