The rain didn’t stop, and we were forced to stay in the cave for the entire night. It was a tremendous waste of time, but there was nothing we could do about it. Waiting it out was the best solution, as we didn’t want to come down with a cold or something. It was better to be safe than sorry. In the morning, we were able to go back. My knee felt a lot better as I got to rest, and so I could walk without his help. I felt better not having to, as I always felt uneasy whenever he touched me. I didn’t know why that was; it just happened. It was completely out of my control.
