Ricky glared at me during the whole course of dinner.
I was playing a dangerous game, no question about it. Ricky was the kind of person who could ruin my life (he already had before) and toying with him in this way probably wasn’t wise.
But I liked it. So, whenever I caught his eye, I smiled at him, and I could’ve sworn that I could see fire in his eyes.
The Alpha and Luna weren’t with us, so there was no overall tension in the dining room. I was sitting next to Livette, who was telling me about the dress she’d ordered for the event without wanting to give too much detail because she wanted it to be a surprise.
