“Wake her.” The sound of splashing echoed in the room as Athena slowly opened her eye; vision in a blur, she could not discern where she was. She could barely hear anything as she tried to get up, but she could not. Soon enough, her vision returned to normal as she turned to her left and found her arm chained against the wall; she turned to her right and found the same thing, before she looked down and saw her body elevated over a pit of wooden spikes. “At last you’re awake,” a deep baritone voice spoke as Athena turned to where it came from. A tall man with a square jaw and head full of white hair came into view, who sat under the dim light of the skies upon a stone throne behind a crowd of hooded figures; he had crimson red eyes and sharp, snake-like fangs protruding from his upper lip
